About this Coffee

This coffee comes from a cooperative of 24 coffee mills that are supplied by growers from the western ring of the Rwenzori Mountain Range. Known as Kivu, this area shares borders between the DRC, Rwanda, and Burundi and produces some of the most unique coffees in the world. Due to hardship s from conflict, civil disputes, and armed incursion cooperation between growers and producers is key to export the re only cash crop.
