The Check-6 Foundation's vision and drive is working towards the goal that one day, every child battling a serious medical condition, and every military veteran in need will have a WINGMAN who HAS THEIR BACK.
Through the efforts of our staff, partners, and ambassador volunteers, we are seeing that goal beginning to be realized, but there is much more to do.
Pilot for a Day
The Check-6 Foundation, Inc. supports the children and families that have been selected for the Pilot for a Day Program that is conducted at Joint Base Andrews.
Twice a year, a terminally ill child is selected by the Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC and is invited to become a “pilot” for a day. The event itself is comprised of a day full of activities revolving around the child’s dream and interest in aviation.

Veteran Wingman
Another service provided by The Check-6 Foundation is the “Veteran Wingman Program”. In situations that fall into this category, Check-6 provides financial assistance and possible referrals to other organization (but benefit is not restricted to) a Military Veteran who needs help covering an unexpected expense. The Check-6 Foundation has provided aid by directly paying for Veterans’ mortgage, rent, electric & utility bills, car payments, insurance premiums and even food. We have also partnered with business leaders to offer assistance with transitioning military members, veterans and their spouses who are matched with “mentors”. Through our partnership with Veterati, this is a 100% FREE SERVICE.
WINGMAN'S ROAST
We're very exited to feature the Wingman's Roast. This is a blend of Ethiopian and El Salvadoran selections that will fit in with any brewing style. A portion of the proceeds from every bag of Wingman's Roast will go directly back to the Check-6 Foundation. With every purchase you're helping a terminally ill child realize their dream of flying, and a veteran find their footing.
